Event Guide

Get the most out of the Market.

Unlike a normal convention, the market is held in a large pavilion.

This is first-and-foremost a Market event.

There will be a variety of things to do beyond just the traders hall, but unlike the kind of events you may be used to, there won't be a schedule of panels or events.

Instead, the market is more of a "come and go as you please" kind of event, with a focus on shopping and socialising.

Important!

The event is not until August 15th, as such details on this page may still be subject to change.

Please keep an eye on the website and social media for updates.

What to bring?

Your ticket and ID

To enter the main hall you must have a valid ticket, and present your ID.

Anyone under-16 needs an adult guardian, or will not be allowed entry.

Tickets can be purchased on the day for a slightly higher rate.

Once you have a wrist-band you can always re-enter easily.

What else?

Dress for the weather

Though there is a lot of indoor space, the event is held in a large pavilion, so be prepared for varying temperatures and weather conditions on the day.

Some cash, just-in-case

Almost all traders accept card payments, but it's always a good idea to have some cash on hand for smaller purchases or emergencies.

Water & Essentials

Though water is available at the event, and there are shops nearby, it's a good idea to bring a refillable water bottle and any personal essentials you may need throughout the day (medicine, personal effects etc).

Bags and Folders

You'll be able to buy extra tote-bags at the main entrance (while stocks last).

But we suggest bringing a folder or poster tube also, for any artworks or flat items you might purchase.
